I've just this minute switched to Firefox. Glad I saw this thread.
Firefox is fab Dot. Get the add-blocker, then you don't see the irritating ads on the right xx

Shall be using firefox from now on.
But how do u get your favorites to stay at the left of the page like IE?
Tigerlily, For the bookmarks sidebar.

Click "View" then "Sidebar" and click "Bookmarks".

I cannot believe the difference, I have been online for about 4 hours on Firefox and not had to reboot once!!!!! I kept thinking it was the dongle or my laptop!!!! It is brilliant!!!
at last the masses realise just how much better than IE firefox really is :)
This will put a serious dent into IE's market share Chuck, that can only be a good thing.

I've used it for 4 years and would never touch IE again.
I agree Dabs, it might even make MS sit up and make a good browser... probably not though.

I don't have the option to use IE on this lappy even if I wanted to as it's linux (even more secure for all you people that are really worried about security)

The only time I ever load IE on my windows laptop is to check exactly where menu settings are, how they are laid out and what they are called to answer questions on here:)
