The next time you hand-wringing loony liberal lefties accuse our troops in Iraq or Afganistan of killing innocent women & children, you should first consider how the family and friends of these three Marines killed by a 13 year boy must feel, especially just before Christmas.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the Famlies and friends of these three Marines and to the one who was killed in a separate incident.

Yes, soldiers kill innocent children.

Yes the Taliban have bain-washed a child into killing slodiers, and himself, for them.

But let's not run away with the notion that one is somehow justified because of the other, or that one is in any way less tragic than the other.

I would suggest that the families will grieve for their loved ones, and that grief will not be influenced by the futility of the way in which their lives were taken - or indeed the futility of the military action that put their loved ones there in the first place.

In short - your apparent desire to show the Taliban to be as ruthless as some invading soldiers have been is a truism - and none the less tragic for it.
This is the problem with war. People involved are all humans regardless of what side they are on and each family who loses a loved one in this way, will suffer the same degree of grief.

Thats war for you. Only the innocent really suffer.
Wether its the children killed in the line of fire or the children left behind by the deaths of their fathers in the line of duty.
We (Britain) are not far away from the "13 yo kids are only trying to free themselves from the White Western invader" (who incidentally brought loads of advantages, but let's just conveniently gloss over that, because
because this site is technically "*****"
Maybe you ranting right-wing nutters ought to think a bit harder about the consequences before invading other countries eh?
How was it the coalition manged to get the Taliban to flee into the mountains? There they were a sitting duck for the US 500lb bombs. To save our troops on the ground why can't they do something similar to separate the Afghan population and the Taliban and blast them to smithereens.

Because you ranting Left-Wing nutters are a little short on brain cells, it is easy to excuse you for your lack of knowledge.

Wasn't it a Labour (left Wing) Goverment that took us into these two disastrous wars?

these right whingers only know one medicine, kill or be killed.

Seems pretty sensible to me, pity these 3 Marines could not have taken this action when confronted by this killer kid with a wheel barrow.

But then the Loony Left would have been up in arms about the 'Murder' of an innocent child, but who cares at least 3 of 'our brave lads' would have still been alive.

Who knows perhaps in the not too distant future, they may have been able to help and protect sad individuals such as jake-the-peg, Steve.5 and others like them.

Good point rov, the only trouble is how can we seperate the Afghan population from the Taliban? They are one of the same, I wouldn't trust any of them.

<i. well ******** if you think being killed is sensible then i think its time for you to see someone about your condition, as you appear to be mentally unstable

Do you really understand what you read and what you write? Because I don't think you do.

I did not say it was sensible to be killed.

What I said was" to kill or be killed" was sensible.

Now let me put it another way, if you are still finding it difficult.

Given a choice to kill or be killed, it would be sensible to choose the former (that is to kill).

Can't be any clearer I'm afraid, if you still don't comprehend, is there an adult you could ask?
