There are plenty on here who constantly urge such retaliation here.

No doubt the same people will now come on and condemn this as barbaric (which it is).
Sharia law is open to interpretation and Iran is very fundamentalist. This is a particularly strict interpretation. The Sharia Law that muslims want to use in the UK to solve disputes is not the same if you were going down that road.
The law varies in the muslim world, just as the law varies in the West. Some countries in the west still frazzle criminals with 200,000 volts in an electric chair, which could also be called barbaric.

Can�t you see what he did to her. Or would you rather have him in a five star jail and then out again within months to do this to someone else.
Sharia law is open in these cases, it is up to the victim or the family of the victim (in case of murder) if they want to forgive the person then they can. But you can only forgive to someone who sincerely regrets what he has done. If she is related to me and if he is regretting for what he has done, then I may give him another chance. Should I give him another chance when he is more than willing to do this again to someone else.

Honestly keyplus 90, I could not for one moment be responsible for such a barbaric punishment, I am simply not a vengeful person.
I think that everyone who sits in the comfrot of their homes and offices spouting off about 'Hang 'em all, I'll pull the lever ...' are simply caught up in an urge to register their anger and revulsion, but if it really came down to it, they would not be an executioner or see people locked up with similar minded sociopaths.
Laws make us civilised, whooping like savages about how we would dance around while paedophiles are set alight is simply not a way for a civilised society to think about behaving.
I would want justice, but justice is not revenge, and revenge is not justice.
