Further investigation into the life of the Afghan woman struggling to pay her way, while living in their 1.2 millon pound 7 bedroom mansion.

She says she would like to send her children to Disney Land, but she can't afford it.

Perhaps the more liberal amongst you, would care to have a whip round for her?

I believe I have already contributed.
"Yet wandering through her home is like stepping into a glossy Argos catalogue"

What an appalling state to live in, I'm ashamed to welcome people into my country and subject them to this pitiful existence. It makes me weep.
Don't blame her - she didn't squat in the house or steal it.

It was offered to her by the council. She has done absolutely nothing wrong.
the government created this, not the family
I think I've commented on this already and as yet my opinion hasn't changed... Although I am disturbed to read about the girl in the permenant state of arousal also featured in the News of the World, wow, do they have their finger on the pulse with the breaking news!
they are obviously dealing in second hand motors and coining it with no income form it being declared. Bet the son has no driving license nor car insurance.
What a stupid, irresponsible article!!!!!!...is she to be BLAMED because the house came with all this???....Maybe the Council should have stripped the property bare before they put anyone in it.

the council is irresponsible for putting a low-income family in a house they cannot AFFORD to live in. And as for the woman stating that she would love to take the children to DisneyLand.....well-Are we to hang her now for expressing the same sentiments as most parents int his country???

The only dfiifference pastafreak is that we don't moan that our Goverment (a Foreign Goverment in her case) doesn't give us enough in benefits, to enable us to take the kids to Disney Land.

Done nothing wrong Ethel?

What about bringing herself and brood into this country, when she could have just popped over the border to Pakistan?

What about taking housing stock that could have housed a few of our own ex-tax paying people, who perhaps through no fault of theirs have lost their jobs and have had their homes taken from them because they can no longer afford to pay the mortgage?

I could go on but just read the comments at the end of the article, it seems I am not on my own in showing my utter disgust at what a soft touch this country is, no wonder they want to come here.

One final question, what benefit is this family to this country? They are all take and no give.
the governement let her in, she came over because she could, again it all comes back to government policy on immigration, social housing and benefits.

what would be the point of having a go at her, have a go at the people who created the situation...yes the government

Sod you china - having read that above I wish I had bought a NOTW this morning!

That said, it IS a tacky paper....

Oh, and as I have said before on this, air fare home would be a lot cheaper....
OMG! Here I am agreeing with anotheoldgit! Whatever next!

It's not the size of the house that bugs me, not even the fact that the family are asylum seekers/refugees. It's the fact that she's supposedly unemployed, yet has all the trappings of middle-classdom. How? My bloke and I work b_____ hard for what we earn. Yet it doesn't allow for half what's in that woman's house. I bought two new rugs today - 4 each from a car boot sale!

It's too small, she says, only suitable for chickens, then in the next breath it costs too much to run - what does she want?
Have a look at one of the responses:

this just makes me sick reaidng it what about all the homeless WHITE BRITISH people abandoned mothers (white english) who cant afford anythign if they dont like it send them bak if they cant aford to live in the uk deport them no wonder the UK is going down the plug hole because of people like them knock there house down and make it a shelter or something where WHITE BRITISH people can live

Wow!

Is Ealing a Labour, Liberal or Conservative council?
Ace.
I've subsequently found out that Ealing is a Conservative council.

And get this...last week, one of the national tabloids exposed the the fact that there are other similarly sized houses on the same street available for rent at a quarter of the cost!

Conservatives eh? Thank God they're not in power at the moment. Can you imagine how they'd handle the current banking crisis?!!?
Ignoring who and who isn't to blame, the fact of the matter is this woman and her many children have come to Britain and us tax payers are haemorraging money on her.

Let's not forget that in addition to the preposterous amount of rent she is receiving, she is also receiving a shed load of benefits, is having her council tax paid, she and her family have access to free medical treatment and her kids who go to school are receiving a free education.

They have not contributed a single penny to our country.

The above is wrong. I couldn't give a tinker's cuss how people try to justify it or who they blame, it is simply wrong that she receives what she does.

They really must feel as if they've hit the jackpot having come from an absolute toilet of a country.

I wouldn't mind so much if they were working - but the fact they are not justs rubs salt in to the wound.
Not only are they not working and not contributing to the society they are so gleefully leeching off, the son seems to have his fingers in many illegal pies.
We should remove outsiders, pull up the drawbridge, and get on with our penny-pinching in peace.

It's the hallmark of a progressive civilised country.
She can't afford to send her children to Disney World?
My heart bleeds for them all.
What of the asylum seekers who have come to this country and were professionals-ie:doctors,teachers,accountants-in their own lands......yet they are either not allowed to work here in their professions, or,they can't even get a job collecting rubbish for the council??. I know that this woman does not seem to fall into this category.....but there are plenty who would contribute massively if given the chance. We are all to quick to judge and label ALL immigrants as scroungers.
