I have never been a person who is prone to spots, but over the last few months, I have just had an attack of them and I just can't get rid of them. Every now and again I would get the odd few spots just before my period, but nothing like this!

They are mostly around my mouth and my forehead and are really starting to get me down. It isnt nice when you go out for a weekend with your mates and all I see in the pictures they take is my spotty face.

I have tried different facial wipes with witch hazel in them, germolene, my boyf is going to get some cream he use to get and said it worked for him, but is very strong and will bleach my pillow case! Could this be harmful?

Thanks in advance.

My daughter suffers with spots and the one thing that we have noticed that makes a difference is keeping away from dairy products.

Any creams, lotions and potions she has tried make her face sore and red. We went to the GP and she was prescribed a short course of antibiotics to start the healing process. They do seem to be getting a lot better.

Good luck.
I recently discovered some new facial wipes for spotty faces and they are brilliant. I am now 40 years old and have had bad skin since the age of about 10.Over the years I have tried every prescription and over the counter remedy available. The only one that previously worked was a contraceptive pill called Dianette, now that I am over 35 my GP won't prescribe it for me.
The wipes I now use are Neutrogena Visibly Clear-Rapid Clear Wipes, they are available at most large supermarkets and chemists.
sorry i dont know of any cures but i get spotty when i am stressed.if you are stressed they may clear up after the stressful period
Hi cymru - Try Sudocrem, it's really very good! Wash with an unscented soap like 'simple' xxx
an easy and cheap try is using baby shampoo very diluted as a face wash, it has anti bacterial effects.
Sudocrem is the silent spot remover that doesnt get the regonition it deserves, also its very cheap for a big tub and can be used for many different problems, every person who i have passed this info on to have always come back to me thanking me sooooo much because it has worked in no time on them, always rub it into your face every night before bed and i guarantee you that within 3 weeks your face will be crystal clear. you can buy sudocrem from most chemists and supermarkets.good luck http://www.sudocrem.co.uk/
I have found sudocrem really very good kevo, forgot to say like kevo did, only apply at night!!
Has a tendency to make you look very white & ghosty looking! lol!! ( good for Halloween! ) Joking apart, just apply at night, wash off in the morning! xxx
