Hopefully many more cheapo airlines will collapse, and reduce the pollution of the skies by money-skimpers looking for an ultra-cheap holiday. Mind you, then they will holiday in England...... It's a no win.

Greed is destroying the planet.
Quite agree Whiffy , get them all out of the skies, there are plenty of ships after all.

I heard one unfortunate victim - "We paid by cheque because it saved us money"

Yes, and now you are stuffed, because of your greed, but hopefully there are a few less aircraft polluting the skies with noise and gases. You saved a few bob did you? Well done, you've now lost the lot, because of GREED.
They have been saying it will probably happen to quite a few cheaper airlines so I don't think it's over yet.

Not the best time to have to or want to be travelling :(
I'm sure that Whiffy does all his/her shopping not at supermarkets who squeeze the balls of suppliers to service his/her GREED.

To analyze greed on a fair platform would be to critisize every aspect of our life
Alitalia is ATOL bonded, so it matters not a jot how they paid - they will get their money back
"Douglas McNeil, of Blue Oar investments, said that more than 50 European airlines were under threat. His list includes names such as SAS (Scandinavia), Alitalia (Italy), Olympic (Greece), Malev (Hungarian) and Lot (Poland). The future of smaller British airlines such as bmi, Flybe and Monarch was also doubtful, he said in a report, Into Thin Air."
