No this is not a story pinched from another newspaper by the lazy reporting of the Daily Mail.

It is a story pinched by that "can do no harm" newspaper, The Guardian.

Do we really believe she's the only woman in France subservient to her husband and male relatives? Unfortunately, I must say I doubt it.

The woman seems to have passed most usual criteria - she speaks fluent French, she's lived in the country for 8 years, and there's no evidence of her being linked to extremists or radicals.

Her rejection on grounds of essentially not being sociable enough strikes me as just bizarre, to be honest.

That means if you have sex with 14years old in England, you are a paedo but in Spain you are OK. Now let me know if you are worried about sex with a girl of that age or you are more worried about Islam allowing marriage according to the puberty and not according to the digits. As you yourself can see, no country in the world has a female age of consent less than 13 years old. You may think that there�s �only� four years difference between 9 and 13. However, the difference between a 9 year old and a 13 year old is a absolutely huge in terms of making informed choices.
