I saw on gm tv that gordon brown is to give 200 pounds each of tax payers money to parents who dnt get there kids vacinated and to help them learn basic reading for under fives.
If a parent cant be arsed to get there kids vacinated and help them to learn basic reading skills why should the goverment give them money?
all parents are responsable for there own children reading skills at first.

Are you sure that you have got this quite right, there doesn't seem to be any other information to support your claim.

However on a general note, should tax revenue be spent on children - it happens already. That is why there is schooling, Child Benefit, health care etc in this country.

What is the point you are trying to make?
Maybe they could spend the money on basic writing skills rather than reading skills?

It was on BBC this morning as well.

My suggestion is that they give people money for sterilisation instead...
