My Mother in law is anxious to return to Italy to visit her family but does not want to fly alone. I am not able to get time off work to go with her. Does anyone know if there is any sort of escort service available, I know there is something for children traveling alone but not sure about the elderly.

If she is elderly try contacting the airline as if someone is meeting her at the airport in Italy, she will be fine as long as some one on flight keeps a special eye on her for you.
