I don't know any individually.

I do think that the trend for large hoop earrings and jogging bottoms tucked in to ugg boots can be kept however.
I'm with Charlie Brooker:

'If you're going to sneer at the underclass, grow some balls. Come right out with it. Call them "paupers" and "scum", and sit on your balcony hurling buttered rolls at them while guffawing. Buy a top hat and a monocle, and preface every "chav"-bashing comment with the words, "I say, Godfrey..."'
Chavs have a certain honesty about their vulgarity. They do not care what others think and that is refreshing.

I would sooner have them that people who pretend they are something that they are not. Stupid halfwits in 4x4s to go to Tescos in, with fake breasts.
I don't live in England -and don't know what a Chav is-please enlighten me.

where i live there are chavs everywhere.

Some of them are okay

However most of them feel the urge to destroy everything, mouth at everyone and just be anti-social.

Most chavs are known to wear tracksuits, listen to dance music, smoke and always be drunk but i just dislike them for there lack of respect.

I know we all mock 'chavs' -sometimes they deserve it.I have been guilty myself
Some need a good boot up the arse
However I seriously am very opposed to a the 'social divide' as I see it.

I think anyone could be capable of atrocities -reagardless of their upbring and all the rest.

Just my take on things.
And theur spelling -sorry peeps ^^^^

and 8ball -I was typing that answer before I was interuppted -so we seem to sing from the same song sheet.
I cant believe the people defending them on here, the majority of them are s*umbags who dont work, put a strain on the system by claiming any benefit they can and pop out sprogs as often as possible, while being rude and unsociable.
Agree with Big Dad- whilst some people may have Chavlike tendencies, the real Chavs are the lowest of the low and should all be sterilised.

Hello 8ball, ya little poppet ;-)

and so what if they're 3% of the population? They should still be eradicated!

Can see your argument there 8ball- but the majority of people you've mentioned are at least working and trying to support their families.

Like Big Dad has said ,the stereotypical Chav doesn't work and has no intention of doing so either.
and lets not forget that chav family pet of choice....yes the one and only Staff bull terrier, why this particular mut ?, well its as close as they can get to the now illegal Pit bull.

The Staff, a dog known for its mild temperament as opposed to that wicked vicious breed the Labrador !
Well to be fair Bazwillrun (run where by the way?) they have this type of dog because it looks like the breeds that are illegal, kind of like them buying market knockoffs of Burberry.
They should legalize 'Chav hunts', sod the foxes its the chavs that are the nuisance
'Chavs' aren't the only people who can be destructive (and not all are, really) and should be tried/punished individually when they break the law just as everyone else is.

Quinlad: It's not about class. Believe it or not, there are plenty of 'chav' types from middle-class backgrounds. It's embarassing, but trust me, they exist.

Otherwise I honestly don't care about 'Chavs'. I'm completely indifferent to most 'cliques' and they're no different (even if not quite a 'clique'). I prefer to judge people as individuals; that way I only care about people who are close to me.

Having said that, I do find the dress sense of 'Chavs' wholly revolting.
My son is what is considered a grebo. He's a skate boarder. He has friends both goths, emos and chavs. They get on fiine. They may not share the same interests in sport, music or fashion but they never the less get on.
Some thing to be learned in the fact that most of the trouble comes when labels are applied and stories told of demon teenagers all bent on drinking and causeing havoc.
No doubt there are those who do cause problems but not all are bad.
Not all goths go into school armed and ready to kill, Not all chavs go round beating and killing anyone who does not dress as they do, not all emos are depressed, suicidal sulkers.
I think ignoring the papers might be a good start in avoiding problems.
Thank heavens the world is not all the same.
