If it's this Thursday, 21st, the Victoria Line is still running. The early closure has been cancelled 'due to football matches'

Otherwise the 45 or 59 buses go straight through

You'll be fine to get a tube. The Victoria Line runs till gone midnight., see here

Trust me, when concerts chuck out, everyone heads for the tube line so you will safe enough.

i got an update from the tfl.gov.uk website, and they say closing mon - thurs 4th feb to 20th nov 08, says i shoud start jouney by 22.21..... thanks. D
Just seen the other posts. That's odd. Why not give them a ring and see what they recommend - people have got to get home! Failing that book a licensed minicab. See here

^^^ Ring the academy I mean
Sorry, just spotted this http://www.tfl.gov.uk/corporate/media/newscent re/7197.aspx saying that there will be a replacement bus service.
The replacement bus only serves part of the line - for your journey only the Victoria/Brixton section.

The through buses are probably your best bet
Get the tube there in daylight, which will be fine.

After the concert I would find a suitable mother with two kids at the taxi rank and ask to share one to Kings Cross.

There will be loads as KC is a major station for all the home counties.

A taxi will cost you about about 25 (12.50 per mum), which is good value venue to station.

Both Brixton and KIngs Cross are fairly unpleasant places when the sun goes down.
Agree with abdul on this one, not great places to stroll around, get a taxi back.

Hello abdul, I know that name methinks.

fantastic idea. I had started trying to pre-book a cab already, but i hadnt thought of finding another mum and offering to share.... for the anxiety levels I would be happy to get one on my own! Thanks very much. I was even thinking of backing out...
Uncle Raymondo, as announced earlier with discretion, you are not wrong in your astute assumption.
