yes, I gather the picturesque Hampshire villages of Basra and Baghdad have been having a hard time of it lately too
I am not convinced that Donnington barracks near Telford is the intended destination either for all these tanks.

Doesn't sound much like tank stuff happens there. Could they be looking for Donnington Park in Leicestershire which has an airstrip which could deploy the tanks somewhere more useful?

Only GromNav (Local Hostelry edition) exists at the moment. And it is currently undergoing extensive testing.
There's also a Donnington just north of Newbury......
I suppose it could've been worse if they'd tried to deliver them here

Donnington, near Telford, is part of the Defence Distribution and Storage Agency. They keep tanks there (amongst other things), so it is where they were headed for, Gromit.
