free anti virus protection

I have loaded the free version of AVG anti virus programme and have found that it has slowed my computer right down . does any one know of a fast free anti virus programme i could use thanks

I use avast & it works fine on my computer & I have never noticed it any slower. go to www.avast.com & download the home edition for free but dont forget to uninstall avg first

I use both AVAST and AVG and have not had a single problem yet. They do a great job and no slowing down here.

you should only run one anti virus prog ,don't know how your not having probs

I have had AVG for 3 years and never had a problem. Machine runs the same
