An American reality tv show that sees a group of 40 kids fending for themselves in an abandoned New Mexico town has been courting controversy. There have been accusations of child exploitation aimed at producers and some advertisers have been unwilling to be associated with the programme. Should programmes like this be aired on tv? Should kids be allowed to appear in such reality shows?

Why we are taliking about an American garbage TV programme in the News section is a puzzle.
Reality and TV in the same sentence sends shivers down my spine.

I am praying for Celebrity Death Club/Corpse Swap/Big Brother Murders. Yawn
As per Gromit
Well, they're not really fending for themselves are they. Fending for themselves means that if they run out food, then they're left to starve to death or if they start attacking each other with knives and clubs, they're left to get on with it, so I can't see a problem.

ps
We're probably talking about it in the news section because it's currently in the news.
' A GOOD IDEA" ??!!For gods sake what next?
If only Mike Reid hadn't just snuffed it, the Brit version could have been called Runaround. Teeerrriiifffiiccc!
(Apologies to anyone under 40).
