Well, 2 guests so far have made a statement about the war in Iraq being a mistake - and guess what !! - a huge cheer from the politically correct audience. Then Hilary Benn thinks we ought to bridge the gap between the rich and poor. The solution is simple. You, yes YOU, go out tomorrow and give 10 to everybody else. It is what Christ preached. So instead of sitting in a TV audience applauding platitudes, why don't people get out and do something about all these finely moralistic attitudes which sound great from a comfy armchair but are not ever going to work in the real world.

Oooh, must go, Iraq has cropped up again, yet another chance to stab our own Prime Minister in the back.

May I hazzard a guess? Someone stole your armchairs a couple of years ago, and you've become obsessive about the whole subject. I'm just wondering how come you manage to work them into virtually all your posts? Give it up, man. Get some new ones. Go to Ikea or something. There's more to life than armchairs.

I'll hazard a guess too Waldo, that you joined in with the BBC PC cheers when Harriet Harman, tasty though she is, had a 'go' at Guantanamo Bay ?
ignore the labour party, they are all pretend
Since I didn't watch you, your guess would be wrong, but even if I had watched it, it wouldn't have been from an armchair.
"watch it" not "you".
Sorry I am not quite sure what is your question
You say the solution is simple - give out 10 to everyone else - is that the question?
Or is it that the audience at home are watching tv and should be activists in some way - is that what you are asking?

thanks
I think he point is the liberal 'elite' think they know better than you what to do with your money. They also have a tendancy to be 'do as I say not as I do'.
Champaign socialists, the worst kind.
Ah yes, the do as I say not as I do brigade of which Harmon ("Tasty" - are you sure?) is a fully paid up member - she turned her back on Labour education policy and sent her son to a school in Orpington when she lived in Peckham because the Orpington school was/is a consistently high achiever.

Now for those of you that aren't familiar with SE London Geography, this is a significant journey by train and then there's a 20 minute walk from Orpington Station - he must've passed 20 or 30 schools on his journey.

Since this incident as far as I'm concerned she has lost all the credibility she may once have had - along with Abbott and Kelly.
Christ said I should go out and give 10 to everyone else? Er, can I have chapter and verse on that one please?
here you go jno
Don't save money. (Matthew 6:19-20)
Don't become wealthy. (Mark 10:21-25)
Sell everything you have and give it to the poor. (Luke 12:33)
Take money from those who have no savings and give it to rich investors. (Luke 19:23-26)

so it isn't jesus telling you to give it all away its the old testament - but jesus did agree with the old scriptures so he'd no doubt he'd tell you the same

sorry i only anwered jno's question whiffey - i don't really know what your asking today?

I'm getting fed up with politicians especially labour clones who say the war was a mistake. But who made the mistake, who is responsible, why do they still hold their jobs. Nobody ever resigns with honour anymore....just a mistake has been made lets get on with it. If the judgement is so bad what about any future crisis, has anything been learnt? With Iran on the horizon do we join in the neocons once again? Blair always talks about leadership but for the past 4 years has been a patsy to a President only ready to whip up hostility to previous cold war countries China and Russia. Do you get a feeling sometimes you are supporting the wrong side?
I'm not sure about both giving to the poor and also taking it away from them and giving it to the rich, IggyB; but for sure I already donate heavily to Bill Gates and Richard Branson, so I expect whiffey approves of me
IggyB, Mathew Mark and Luke are in the New Testament...
sorry your quite right - thanks for the correction

and jno - tis true that contradiction seems to be quite rife... come in handy when you are trying to find a biblical excuse to do something though i would imagine
