tapping/clicking noise on vaux astra

thanks for last reply however the tapping/clicking noise on my 1.4 16v astra only seems to make this noise during a certain temp range ie will not do it when engine is cold or is fully warm seems to be in the middle of engine temp range thought about hydraulic tappet but not convinced any other ideas thanks
