I want to start painting again and would love to paint a scene of some brightly/multicoloured houses/villas or really stunning beach houses. On your travels where have you seen such places, I'm guessing somewhere like the Caribbean. If so, where and any links would be wonderful! Even some really good coloured beach huts!! Many thanks x

Two places spring to mind:-

1) Lo Boca, Buenos Aires, Argentina
http://www.travelblog.org/Photos/76829.html

2) Puerto Eden, Chile
http://www.mytripjournal.com/GIW/WebObjects/My TripJournal.woa/1/wo/QmO36Hgo8Kr9cgZmr9dgO0/6. 7.0.26.7.0.2.8.0 - see pictures entitled Puerto Eden

The only way of getting to Puerto Eden is to get the Navimag ferry (http://www.navimag.com/english.asp) from Puerto Montt to Pureto Natales, and it stops at Puerto Eden on its way down.

Go to either and you'll have a very memorable holiday.
