If you want to keep your clean licence then don't speed.
You will find out in a few days.
If you've not heard anything by 2 weeks then you should be ok - the vast majority of motorists speed and I defy anyone who would say they have never gone over the recommended limit.
I was on a motorway yesterday - doing 75 in the middle lane & lots & lots of cars passed me.
Keep an eye on that letterbox, but theoretically it could take up to six months! However, as Dobermanngal points out, two weeks is the norm.

Was it a camera that flashes (Gatso)? That might give you an idea of whether or not you were caught.

it was yeh the yellow box kind. i didnt see it flash but it was about 3pm bright and sunny in the afternoon. they take averages dont they? and i did slow down to about 27mph before i came off the road markings so i shud be ok. hopefully!
with the speeds you said your average would be about 31mph and most cameras in a 30 zone are set up to flash if you average about 35mph, any lower and they would flash every other car that went through and police wouldn,t be able to keep up with all the paperwork.
Suzuki1, a friend of mine was done for passing a camera at 31 mph.
We both thought there was a 3 mph variance to allow for wobble on the speeo, but they said tough & she got fined.
your allowed 10percent so that was very harsh take them to court next time junkie
If there was hatched marking(white dashes) on ur lane/road and you saw no flash then no your fine. Even in day light the flashes can be seen and from quite a distance too, so if u saw no flash and the camera you went past was a yellow box gatso with hatched markings on the road then your fine dont worry. Even tho I can almsot guarantee you that your fine, if u dont get anything through the mail for 2 weeks from the date of the incident then the case is a non starter. Legally they have up to 6 months in order to act but thats only under special circumstances.
