I guess as far as the police are concerned he's sitll an innocent man and shouldn't have his name linked to a particularly nasty series of killings. Journalists aren't so scrupulous.
This man gave his own name to the media last Sunday, but the police have never named him.
Have a look at this story:

http://www.pressgazette.co.uk/article/191206/p olice_warning_suffolk_murder

So, journalists were warned not name the second suspect, and what do they do? They print huge pictures of him with his hands around a female friend.

The shot appears to have been taken at a social function, but you know what the papers are implying.

The press had the picture of the released man in the papers last Monday & his name & place of employment. What hope has he now got of being safe anywhere. It`s not fair at all that the press have now probably ruined his life. I know he`s" released on police bail pending further enquiries" but even so....
I find it unbelievable that the press can go overboard like they have on these men,I understood the law to mean that you were innocent until proven guilty in this country but it seems that the press can dig around and print what they like.If either men are brought to trial how would they expect to be tried fairly given what a prospective jury have probably read?It seems that the world and his wife have sold their stories about these men,I remember when the Yorkshire Ripper case was on there was a lot said about chequebook journalism, seems nothing has changed in the intervening years......
After digging around family and friends of the accused, I bet that hack nearly wet his pants when he sourced the "hands around the neck" photo.
And they wonder why convicted criminals appeal against their sentences on the grounds that it was impossible for them to have a fair trial.
Just came across this story which is rather apt.
It seems like a self-publicity stunt to me. Is he about to write a book or sell his story to the 'News of the World'
