OK, I've led a sheltered life, and I may be being a bit naive, but how does anyone take so many indecent photos in Trafalgar Square, in broad daylight?

If its the pics of children you are talking about, that would be very easy. Children in their naivety will pose and play without regard to keeping themselves covered in the appropriate manner, and then you have weirdo's with zoom lenses, do you get where I am coming from?
A point of interest! A woman cannot be prosecuted for indecent exposure only men!!
Now that's sexist!!
Section 66 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 replaced Indecent Exposure with Exposure and the new offence covers men and women.
it doesn't say that all of them were taken in Trafalgar Square, just the ones when he was caught. The rest may have come off the internet - in fact they must have done; how long would it take to compile that number of photos on your own?
I work in Holborn and often have to walk across the front of St Pauls. The steps cascading down from the front of St Pauls are a favourite place for tourists to sit. Whenever a girl or young woman in a skirt sits down without fail half a dozen men with cameras appear from seemingly nowhere and take pictures looking up the steps and therefore up the skirts. It has been going on for years. It is absolutely disgusting to see.
The definition of 'indecency' here probably refers to getting the child to sit astride the lion statue, and then taking a zoom picture of her knickers, and genital area, which will be visible. Horrible isn't it?
everyone seems to have an opinion, based on what. read the article, don't see any pictures? what's to be anal about?
whilst very creepy if it isn't your own child i couldn't for the life of me imagine what was "indecent" about a pic of a kid on one of the lions - my folks have a few of pics of little IggyB and sister doing something similar - but i guess andy must be right in his suggestion that these are some sort of upskirt pics which would certainly fit the bill and is rightly a concern for the police
There used to be a site of I was aware of which had LOADS of indecent pics taken in Trafalgar square. They were basically upskirt/downblouse taken with the people unaware using a long lens. A lot of people gather there, and sit on steps, climb lions, fountains, etc, and of course a lot are taking photo's, so if you see a camera pointed your way, you think nothing of it.
erm, maxximus, if the pictures are indecent, might that explain why the BBC don't bother putting them on their website?
fair point jno, just feeling left out i guess, thought everyone was seeing something i wasn't.
