I absolutely agree with the conclusion. No other PM has an 'ism' named after them. She effectively presided over the destruction of millions of jobs (market forces, market forces), the rise of the 'me me me' generation and the sell off of national assets (which are now being run solely for the benefit of shareholders - you think about that the next time you look at your gas bill).

Let's celebrate her and the filth she left in her wake.

I grew up under Thatcher and the Tories.

She and her governent taught me that politicians only care about clinging to power. That they're all snivelling toadies more interested in lining their own and their mates pockets and screwing their secretaries than actually doing something good for the country they supposedly represent.

Tony Blair and New Labour have done little to change that viewpoint.

She poisoned the minds of a generation. Monetarism finally proved to be a disaster, because you absolutely can't apply the strictures of the free market to everything.
