There was one , then a week or so later two, Isreali soldiers captured at the start of the recent fighting. Have they ever been released?

None of them has been released so far. The single soldier was captured (kidnapped?) by Hamas in Gaza, while the other two were captured by Hezbollah (after killing eight others with them in northern Israel, probably at the behest of Iran...
