Hi again, I'm trying to work out our kitchen space etc and dont know the legal requirement for spaces between a washing machine and dishwasher, which are close to the sink. Is it 25mm space between appliances or more?

Many Thanks...

Didn't know there was any "legal" seperation distance !!!
Don't think it's a legal requirement as such, but in general, kitchens are planned on 600x600mm blocks, and most appliances you buy in comet or curry will be slightly smaller than that to allow for moving them in and such.
I think if you plan on the basis of 600x600mm blocks you should be okay, but don't quote me on that!
Good luck!

Thanks guys,
I've designed in 600mm blocks, with the sink, dishwasher and washing machine all on the same side.
I was told by someone that I had to make sure there was 25mm between washer and dishwasher.... but on searching building regs for kitchens I couldn't find it anywhere....
I shall carry on then... :-)
