Israel imports oil from the UK, Norway, and Mexico, and from Azerbaijan via the pipeline from Baku to the Turkish Mediterranian port of Ceyhan.
Israel produces less than 3,00 barrels of oil per day and import approximately 99.5% of the oil they consume.

For the past twenty-five years or so, Israel was locked into some long-term oil contracts with Mexico and Norway primarily. Recently, Israel has been increasingly getting oil from Russia and Kazakhstan, and in return, providing these countries with cash and access to the Eilat-Ashkelon pipeline that runs from the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea. It was reported in early 2006 that Azerbaijan is one of Israel's main oil suppliers, but the Israeli officials do not affirm this fact.
hope I don't sound to sarcastic, but if there is money to be made, they would sell snow to the eskimo's.hope this helps as an answer ??????
