it all depends on the severity of the assualt. Was it verbal or physical. Was there any injurys and how did the event occur. Its quite speific and every detail could change the nature of the incident quite dramatically.
as len says it depends on severity of assault but as it is her first time she may just get a caution which if she does something similar they will take that into account

ABH is a very serious offence - the sentencing of which though clearly depends on the circumstances and which court she is to appear before (magistrates or a higher court)...


i would advice you to speak to the court appointed legal rep or your own asap but in the mean time see this link - point number 4 covers ABH

my son committed a robbery at 16 and it was his 1st and only offence,he got a 6 month susspended sentence but is on police record for 5 years,he did not injure anyone but he did break into a house which is just as bad. hope this helps
