The world has gone mad. I saw a brief rundown of all the acts and they all sounded the same, "danced" the same but wore different clothing. And the BBC thinks this is wonderful by part funding it with some of our licence fee.

Agreed, there appears to be an agenda, and it's not a good one!

I don't watch it but I saw a bit of the final performance last night when I was waiting for the news to start - three old duffers prancing around like they were on a drunken stag night in Magaluf - so what's the agenda?

I won't be watching it, but then I never do.

Naomi @13.46

I saw that too but thought they were just guest singers, I could be wrong

sounds like there was some excitement in Malmo today, with the Netherlands entrant, Joost Klein, being suspended following "an incident" https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c9rz5dp467lo

official channels are being tight lipped but a search on various social media channels suggest the reason to be not unconnected with certain happenings in the middle east.

aaaarrrgh! not again!

just delete " " from the end of the link....

I'm going to post on that in News mushroom

They were Herreys, the winning group from 1984, showing that they've still got the energy to perform their hit song 'Digge Loo Digge Ley':

There weren't as many bow ties in the audience as there were 40 years ago though!

Thanks Chris.  Crikey! They've changed a bit since then!

Now we know Ellie.  😂

There were actually some really good songs in last night's line-up.  e.g.

//there appears to be an agenda, and it's not a good one!//

I read this morning that the whole thing seems to encompass the LGBTetc,  scene.  Is that the 'agenda' you refer to?
