Does anyone know if you have to go for an interview when you claim this? My husband is partially disabled and gets PIP (not high rate) and we work from home but business is going down hill, hence needing to claim this benefit, I am his carer so would have to go with him if that is allowed. TIA

You would both need to claim and probably need to attend to verify your identities.  You would also need to attend an appointment to verify your self employment.

Any universal credit you get will be reduced by your carers allowance. Just wanted you to be aware.

thank you

It can't be too onerous to claim...otherwise how would five Bulgarians make several thousand claims and net themselves £54 million? (This beggars belief!)
