Full Screen On Laptop

How do you get the full screen image on a Laptop ....at present there is a 1 inch gap at the Top of any web page I am bringing up. Thanks

Press F11.

PS: If the gap you mention is letting you see part of the desktop, click the 'maximise' button at the top right of the window.  (It's the little square icon, just to the left of the 'X' that closes the window).

Tried pressing F11 B....but all that done was altered the brightness of the screen.

Aha!

The 'F' buttons each do TWO jobs, with one of them requiring you to press the Fn key at the same time as pressing the relevant 'F' key.  Depending upon how your laptop is set up, the one needing the 'F' key could be either of the two functions.  Your laptop is clealy set up the opposite way around to how mine is.

So try pressing Fn and F11 together.  (If you're seeing part of the desktop at the top of your screen though, just try using the 'maximise' button first, as above).
