I do think she's made an absolute prawn of herself - and has been doing so for years.

Not really surprising, her position had become untenable.

As for the comparisons against Prime Ministers - why, there is no comparison. She was leader of a glorified Town Council that, if Rishi had any balls he would disband.
Untitled, yes there was a scandal recently. She attempted to persuade everyone that a man claiming to be a woman, was actually a woman- and- attempted to legally support that. With an embarrassing u-turn, when she realised that wasn't true.
There are many devolved powers and responsibilities..it needs a first minister to govern and manage them properly..without the blinkers of independence
A few names being bandied about as her successor; Kate Forbes, John Swinney, Humza Yousaf...
Goodbye to Queen Nicola but i only hope her successor is not even more selfish and self-orientated than she is. Unfortunately we (Scots and English) could be worse off.
//There are many devolved powers and responsibilities//

Yes, and IMHO that is wrong. Scotland has less people than some counties, should they all be devolved? What about London for instance?

Only fiscal matters pertaining to Scotland
London ..and England has Westminster
Wales is devolved too!
And n Ireland has an assembly.. nothing peculiar to Scotland alone
That works, if England is also devolved.
Westminster governs England primarily
England dosnt have Westminster. The UK has Westminster.
//London ..and England has Westminster//

So does Scotland and you are over represented at that.

Yes I include all devolved.

I think its divisive, either we all sing together or separate.
Well that's her away.. expected speech..
I do agree .strangely for someone who worked on parliamentary bill team for Devolution..
I think together is better !
Like her or not.
She is an excellent orator.
Proud of Scotland and the Scottish people .
She talks the talk.. alas not always with great accuracy or veracity
The wee blawbag is awa' at last. She's done precious little for Scotland despite all the hot air. She won't be missed.
