Of course all the problems in the UK are down to the tories but the EU are facing the same problems.

Energy prices have driven inflation in the 19 countries that use the euro currency to a record 9.9%, making it harder for people to buy what they need.

Oh dear - only reading AB I thought it was just the UK!
for certain aber's its not real, only the uk have problems because of brexit and the conservatives, only labour can fix our problems with the magic money tree.
How lucky they are that they’ll get at least some help via the oil/energy companies over costs etc, eh?

Plus we were told the sunlit uplands are over here, not Europe?
Someone is a bit confused.
Too many Werthers MOC?

There are empty shelves throughout Germany, as spiralling inflation renders the sale of a wide variety of products "unprofitable" and school children are being fed mealworms as part of a project aimed at encouraging people to consume alternatives to meat. Mealworms! Have you ever smelt them? France is not worried about the oncoming winter the "citizens" are going to keep warm by burning down every building.
Zey won't be using petrol bombs, togo.
Zey ave non.
It's not just Labour who use the magic money tree.
Fatticus, i find your reference to Werther's (to refer to what you'd otherwise call tory gammons?) somewhat puzzling.

whilst the August Storck company has been around since 1903, Werthers Echte have only been made since 1969, and only marketed outside Germany since the 1990s.

I doubt they’ll resort to that just yet, but they’re doing more for their citizens than our government is:

As I’ve pointed out quite a lot in the last 6 weeks, whatever the EU do is of little consequence now that we’re out(as some of you are fond of saying) but it’s a fact that their governments haven’t soooked the world markets nor tanked their own economies and massively burdened their citizens further financially through sheer greed, ineptitude and idiocy, have they?
*spooked not soooked
A veritable tea party in comparison to what awaits the next Tory PM.

They’re a feisty bunch, spice.
Always better when deflecting or blaming someone else. PMSL
guess eu members love unelected do as i sayers, poland and hungry are fedup with it, because it's basically germany and france laying the law, germany is not powerhouse it once was, thank to merkels reliance on russian gas to feed it's industry...
I'm not a tory supporter but our economy (while bad) is in much better shape than the EU's. (or the train wreck in the US, come to that)
Surely Gulliver knows this?
i alos do not think boris coming back will not save the tories, his green agenda is the death knell for the uk, it's not real cold yet mmm
but its ok if your rich, just wack that gas central heating with abandon to the cost, that applies to the labour mp's as well, that old saying, i got mine, get yours jack,
just had a thought, get all the eco mob blowing at the wind turbines lamo.
