Perhaps they don't have any?

Peter and James are wearing Jubilee Medals. Don't they give those to women?
I have no idea, nor do I care. Its akin to saying why weren't tge men wearing tights because the girls were. People can wear what they like imo. They are not trying to out mourn each other

There you go , a whole article about it. Didn't answer the important q about lack of tights tho
They are the Silver/Golden and Platinum Jubilee Medals, the female grandchildren also have them but 'have fewer occasions to wear them' (not sure what that means)
Margo, one of the captions says "Zara Tindall, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie and Lady Louise Windsor followed in the footsteps of Princess Anne by taking part in a ceremony that has been traditionally reserved for male members of the Royal Family"

... but still doesn't explain exactly what it means. Perhaps royal women don't usually do vigils?
