I have a British short hair cat that looks at me with those ‘you might be bigger than me but you are still a spineless prick eyes’. I find that is very rude and on the sarcastic side considering my IQ is probably higher than this his. Anyone else have the same issues with pets.

I doubt that - he isn't here asking for advice!
Sounds like a typical cat to me. It's time you realised that you are his servant, and are at his beck and call. ;)
Out of the two of yous, which one is being fed, watered and given shelter every day, at no cost to them?

Now tell me which one has the higher IQ...
That's why I love cats - they have 'attitude'
It's said that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit - but some cats raise it to a fine art. I admire them for that.
The last 7 days on AB have been surreal to say the least.

They have, LCG and now we’re being told the donations are for ‘development’ rather than simply allowing the site to survive. Strange.
Would development not increase the chance of those swithering, remaining and would it not also attract more folk to the site?
Dogs have owners, cats have servants. Haven't you worked that out? We have a cat flap in the kitchen door, the door is usually ajar but if I'm working in the kitchen, one of our cats sits and howls to be let in.

one of our cats sits and howls to be let in... and then out ... then back in again
