Can anyone give me a website where you can read papers that date back to 1970 onwards? I would like to find a picture of my dad as he use to be a runner. The paper he was in was Nottingham Evening Post, I would really like to get a picture of him as he looks JUST like me lol. Thanx Rich.

If you live locally to Nottingham, your local library may well hold records

there's a British newspaper library in Hendon, north London, if that helps.

You can find information on the library that jno mentions here http://www.bl.uk/collections/newspapers.html

From memory I think you need to take a couple of pieces of ID (gas bill etc) for them to issue a readers ticket. Papers are available from many countries, some on paper and some on microfilm. The staff are very helpful.
