Bobbi, if my sister was judged by me, she'd be surrounded by angels singing Hallelujah. If I was judged by her I'd probably be run out of town with pitchforks and burning torches. We're not responsible for what out parents and siblings do, we can't choose our family.

The Government later today will announce new travel advice. An air bridge to Greece will open in 10 days.
Papa J is obviously aware of that and wants to have his property available for let immediately.
Shrewd rather than gormless.
Have I missed something here? I thought Holidays were allowed again, been on the news for days.
You choose your friends not your family.

Anyway who cares, I bet others have done it. Are you shouting about them too?
Didn't realise a date had been set for the lifting of the travel ban, TTT? And if Gromit is correct, then that doesn't happen for another 10 days so SJ has jumped the gun, has he not?
Bobbi, have you got/did you have any control over what your parents do/did assuming they were legally competent? Would you expect to be judged by their behaviour?

Woof, I get that but my Dad wasn’t PM, :0)
I didnt think there was an actual travel ban, the Government advice is to avoid unnecessary travel. As for the destination it is up to the Country you are going to - they are all different.

The problem will arise with insurance as I doubt any would pay any claims.
I'm struggling to understand how the PM's father is expected to be different or Boris to control him. Odd.
Question Author
Ymb, and that country who it was up to was.....Greece
"Question Author Woof, I get that but my Dad wasn’t PM, :0)"

But that was Boris' choice...what has that to do with his father?
Bobbi - And?
Question Author
Of course he can’t control his father, that’s silly, my point I’ve been trying to get across , others will follow suit if they see the PMs father ignoring travel advice they’ll say well if it’s okay for him going to Greece via Bulgaria ,then I could do that !

I feel I’m spinning on one leg here haha, Stanley’s son runs the country ? So even as a point of respect and trying to abide by the rules set out by his sons government, he’d have thought twice about doing this but I can see the emphasis is on ‘just because it’s his son’ so best leave it there ( for me anyway )
If they read the article properly they won't.

There is a massive difference between a holiday home and a hotel. Most people don't own holiday homes.
My cleaner flew to Benidorm yesterday on holiday. I don't think she's broken any rules.
Question Author
Bet she couldn’t get insurance Jack as she’s gone against FO advice to only make essential journeys Unless that’s been lifted?
I can't read the article.
The rule he has flouted is Greece's not the UK's
Question Author
Can someone please provide a link that tells me that the FO says it’s now okay for us to travel ? And that companies will insure us to do that now
Thank you
Question Author
Danny, I may be wrong but I thought if you went against advice to travel then insurance wouldn’t cover you ( not that Stanley need worry about that :0)))
