Let me guess: the Tory MPs voted in favour, the Labour MPs abstained.
Oh, I was right :-)
More interesting maybe who were the 46 who voted against and who were the non Tories who voted for: I think 293 did so and that is slightly more than the number of Tory and DUP MPs currently. Looks like one Lib Dem voted for one and 3 independents.
Half of the 46 against were Labour.
Parliament voted with a definite ‘No’ last Wednesday.
Bringing the vote back, less than a week later, for a second go was futile and a waste of precious time. Anyone similarly humiliated would go out of their way to avoid making the same mistake again. But Boris couldn’t wait to be embarrassed again.
So the ‘did not vote’ MPs are basically cowards?
I was a bit surprised they went for it again: presumably so they could renew the “Corbyn is scared” stuff.
And, as you say, waste more time.
Tho they did have time to vote to force the government to release the Yellowhammer stuff I believe?
