I have no idea what the 'mental capacity to search Google … ' as to do with anything, any newspaper will inform on knife crime on any day of the week.
As to youth clubs 'solving' the problems of society, I don't believe that they are equipped to do that, but that's OK, because it's not their job, remit, or responsibility.

This liberal left wishy washy handwringing approach needs to stop. We are hearing noses from Priti and BoJo but firm actions are needed.
Lets get on with tough sentences fom the outset, drain the judiciary swamp of liberals or make it so they cannot trist the law to suit their warped beliefs. No more automatic parole, 3 strikes and totally out. Murder MUST equal life - all of it - no release no matter what age you are.
Not looking for a cure here, simply removing them from society will make society safer. And it will deter some if they see harsh sentences (and harsh jails too with hard labour).
So lets get building and lock them up.

So no farther, lived in a deprived area, no youth facilities, very little food, holes in my shoes, rags for clothes, army coats on the bed to keep warm. but NONE of us got into any bother. I was to busy getting a paper round done, sometimes two, at 5.30 in a morning before school, after school from 4.00pm until 6.30/7.00pm scrubbing a butchers shop out, from floor to ceiling after each days trading 6 nights a week, so two jobs, and all the money I earned was given to my mom to help pay the bills, due to lack of farther. So don't give me that tosh about being deprived.

teacake - No-one would suggest that deprivation in and of itself is an automatic precursor to a life of crime, that would be nonsense.
But is remains a fact that children and young people from deprived homes do form the majority of statistics when crime is measured.

Andy-hughes is a fine fellow with a first class brain who sometimes is given to pontificating a tad. A modest flaw in a gentleman of his stature. I often thrill to discover that Mr Hughes has beneficially enlightened me upon nearly every subject. His knowledge is only surpassed by my admiration of such a wise, modest, soul.
