Mind you Trump did attend the memorial of Robert Byrd and paid tribute with a heartfelt eulogy to KKK white supremacist.

Robert Byrd
"The Klan is needed today as never before, and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia and in every state in the nation.''

For crying out loud if you are invited to attend a dinner you don't act like a petulant child and say--'if he's going then I'm not'. It's an insult to the Queen not Trump. She is the one doing the inviting. Corbyn and the rest who have refused her invite need to take a good hard look at themselves. They disgust me .
TALBOT, I am no defender of Trump but your quote come from the 1940s.

'When Byrd died at age 92 on June 28, 2010, the NAACP released a statement saying that over the course of his life he “became a champion for civil rights and liberties” and “came to consistently support the NAACP civil rights agenda.”'
TCL, It shouldn't be Trump you should be defending actually.

Funny isn't it how some people have to carry their mistakes with them for the rest of their lives and others don't.
So JC and Bercow turned down a freebee , whatever next.?
Blimey, Corbyn AND Bercow refused! I bet the Queen is both relieved and delighted
"Blimey, Corbyn AND Bercow refused!"

I must see if I can wangle an invite! :-)
seems like only last year Theresa May was sitting down with the Saudi Crown Prince, the one who has annoying journalists killed. What a wicked woman!
I agree with the first five words
Question Author
ich, first five words of what?
The Queen is a very intelligent woman and will be well aware those not attending are not snubbing her personally.
The first five words of the headline (what else)
Question Author
anyone disagree with the Sun's? or the headline in the link?
Snubbed the queen ? Oh please . Be assured corbyn will never be PM .
I think he has declined because he knows he is so insignificant he will be on the table farthest away next to the toilet door.

How embarrassing would that be to your Marxist ego?
Or cassa, he may dislike trump and all he stands for ?
What does Trump stand for?
Being a politician means picking your battles carefully.

If Mr Corbyn was a politician, he would see that he loses far more in terms of public perception (and therefore votes) than he gains by standing on his principles.

But, as I have stated many times, Mr Corbyn is not a politician, he is a professional agitator, who has little if any understanding of the ways that diplomacy and international politics actually works.

I think he is unfit to be Prime Minister, and this is simply one more stunt that underlines my view, but it was formed some considerable time ago.

God help the UK if this idiot ever gets elected, Venzeuela here we come, man is a public enemy.
Even here in the UK media has done the best job ever for the Democrats TDS.

Lies and the misinformation that comes out of the US MSM is mostly all you get.

Taxes... Democrats lied but the lie is believed.
NATO anti war rape ...... Democrats lied but the lie is believed.
There are countless examples of the lefts lies, misinformation and outright hate.

Even when it has been proved there is little to no foundation for accusations, what do the Democrats and MSM do? They double down on it and convince people of the lie. Because they say it each and every time they open their mouths. The drip, drip feed of lies become the truth in the consciousness of the country and the world.

Trump would make mincemeat out of Corbyn and Cable because they are stupid enough to believe propaganda and they would be toast. That is why they are too frightened to go.
