the parade in london against brexit, are these people anti britain and not like sovereignty, prefer to ruled over by non elected entities, or better still be ruled by germany and her pet france, with unfettered illegal migrants given a welcome and a ferry service to europe.

I guess they don’t want a scenario where thousands of British workers could lose their jobs with a no deal Brexit. Calling for a referendum too. Odd way of looking at it
Yea, yea and thrice yea. If only Boris had been allowed to buy his water cannons!
Oops! I see ich has just launched Project Fear Mk 25.
They are just people with different opinions to you Fender, ironically exercising their democratic right to protest, which surely is part of the thing which is wonderful about Britain, or don't you like that bit?
Just anti Brexit I'd say .
*Threatened* by job losses by companies that want their own way rather than what's right for the nation. Brought on in large proportion by this sort of remainer dissent that indicates to the EU that it can dig it's heels in and Brexit might go away, thus making 'no deal' more likely, and a lack of clarity for all.

If the dissenters accepted the decision things would go a lot more smoothly. Change always has a cost, but when one can not get behind the decision then things get rougher as those with ulterior motives use the situation for their own advantage.

Curbing the merchants and returning power to the people's representatives is a good thing to achieve. One can not cave into threats, bluff or not. Long term one either has control of one's nation or one has given it away in fear.
Amazing how all these young people know exactly what leaving the EU will do despite the fact that very little has actually been agreed. The simple approach is there are no experts on this so we should leave the government to get the beast deal they can for us and stop all the pointless voting and complaining.
Exercising their democratic right to mess up the country's well-being.

freedom to protest of course, but id rather be on my feet than on my knees to europe...guess they prefer to be ruled over by non brits who do not have there best intentions for said, reminds me of the vichy government...but im an old man, who's perhaps is living in the past.
The reason Theresa May is pushing a so called ‘hard Brexit’ is nothing to do with the ‘will of the people’ but because Nick Timothy - not elected in any referendum or general election - insisted on it and this has left her boxed in ever since. When companies like Airbus warm of the consequences of leaving with no deal, and she refuses to rule it out because she doesn’t want to ‘weaken our position in the negotiations’ you realise just how ridiculous all this is. ‘No deal’ would be catastrophic: everyone knows this and it would make more sense if we all stopped pretending otherwise

Strange how the Far-Left don't give the Far-Right the same privilege.
Just to be clear the main focus of this demo is not to ‘stop Brexit’ although they would be great, it’s to stop a catastrophic outcome and demand the people have their smash on the actual terms - you might not agree with all of that but the headless Brexit chicken mode adopted by people parroting ‘will of the people’ ‘not bow down to European imperialism’ or whatever is very depressing
... like extras as a Kim Jong Un rally :-)
Icheria, you are welcome to your opinion, but you are wrong.Airbus and other businesses would be cutting off their noses to go through the expense of relocation.

anotheoldgit, true...were either racist xenophobic anti migrant...just plain bad people, ragaling the days of empire with cricket on the lawn.
the days before political correctness, i like that word..or your racist because you do not agree with me...

Surely, AOG, you should have realised by now that the mantra of the Left is: 'Do as I say, not as I do'. If I remember correctly this was popularised by Messrs Blair and Mandelson.
Well you’ll have to take that up with Airbus Danny. I’d imagine they’ve thought of that :-)
My brother works for Airbus and is cacking himself.

Before the referendum they were all marched into big meetings and told the same. Needless to say project fear ala Airbus worked on him.

Isnt the ownership of Airbus split between 2 or 3 European Countries?
If so, no wonder they are Pro-Europe and the EU.

Just had a Google, they are well European owned.

Airbus SE, (French, German & Spanish) is a European multinational corporation that designs, manufactures and sells civil and military aeronautical products worldwide. In addition to its primary civil aeroplane business, the company has two divisions for other products and services: Defence and Space and Helicopters, the latter being the largest in its industry in terms of revenues and turbine helicopter deliveries.
