I don't think there's any point in the party existing, apart from giving us a laugh.

Without looking at their website, can anyone name five of their policies?

In any organisation the most able and competent of it's membership rise through the ranks to reach the hierarchy and leadership. What does UKIP's leaders ability & performance say about its ordinary members?
But back to UKIP, it is odd that such a badly organised party has managed to achieve more than any mainstream party has done in recent years. You may not agree with the UK's withdrawal from the EU but many people do and the sore has been festering unaddressed for years if not decades. Without UKIP there would have been no referendum and the sore would have continued to fester until it poisoned the entire country.
Noted NJ.

I also agree wholeheartedly with Eddie for once. See miracles do happen :-)
I agree with Eddie on nuclear power and NJ at 8:51 if there were no need for UKIP it wouldn't have been so successful or indeed needed.

And before the lefties start frothing at the mouth and jumping up and down with outrage and condemnation, you don't have to be in power or even have sitting MPs to achieve your aims.

But TBH they have only achieved half the aim. We have had a vote and now the second half is ensureing we get out and not inoutinout, shake it all about and do a uturnabout.
They may be finished, but at least they still have the ability to keep the lefties frothing at the mouth, so at least they are still doing some good.

Not frothing.

Laughing.
UKIP leader Henry Bolton hit by multiple resignations

Bolton ....gone by tea time ?
I agree with Eddie as well, but I can't why our 'lecky supply can't come from a variety of sources. I fail to see what is wrong with wind turbines....vorsprung durch technik and all that.

He's just said he's not going to resign.
Defiant UKIP leader Henry Bolton aims to 'drain the swamp'

Not sure if there would be anybody left in UKIP if he did !

I have just listened to Farage being interviewed by Humphrys, and its like we have stepped through some invisible curtain, into another dimension !

Farage severely criticised Bolton, and yet went onto say that he (Bolton) was the man for the job, and all this was the fault of UKIPs NEC.

A NEC elected by UKIP !
Mikey, //A NEC elected by UKIP ! //

Not with you. What do you mean?
Farage is only doing what you do with that scruffy article currently running Labour, Mikey, backing him against all reason.
Dougie....Corbyn has increased Membership and increased the number of MPs in Parliament. Labour is now ahead on most Polls.

UKIP is hemorrhaging Members, still haven't got any representation in the HOC, and most of the "Front Bench" have now resigned.

Bolton is behaving bizarrely, to say the least. He has admitted that a 6th leadership election may destroy the Party financially.

He should just go....he is just an embarrassment.
Mikey, can you answer my question please?
And that is the case for the prosecution m'lud.
Thanks danny. That was yesterday, on LBC.

But this morning, Farage appeared to row back on those words. He also said that he hadn't made his mind up with to support Bolton in the forthcoming EGM.

If Farage is confused, where does that leave us ?
