There’s some very sophisticated operations going on that we know nothing about (obviously). We have no idea how many people have been saved from death and/or injury due to the professionalism of the security and police services.

They cannot prevent every single terrorist act, but they are doing the very best that they can to keep us safe.

If this case results in a conviction, big pat on the back for those involved.

I agree that few major urban areas are safer than others, so moving from one to another isn’t really a solution - but it’s understandable that people will feel London is more dangerous simply because of statistics.

i live not far from the site of the 7/7 bombings, i wasn't too far from the explosion of the 30 bus, other times i have been in the vicinity of the IRA bombings, lucky so far i guess....
