why would it?
it doesn't bother so much as the attitude of their delivery cyclists, who believe themselves to be invulnerable in traffic, and exempt from all known laws.
the guardian's article tries really hard to make them sound ***, but there's nothing in the descriptions that's any different to a restaurant kitchen description - no windows, check, door open check, stuff piled outside check, it's hot - really? who'da thunk it?
Never use them. Seems a bit of a deception though.
A Deliveroo guy drove his bike in front of me in a M&S car park - he nearly caused an accident. Said a few words to him but he ignored and went onto M&S to shop. He couldn't have cared less.

Yes they sound just like any of the 9 pro kitchens I have worked in.
^ That's yes they are like normal kitchens, but No it does not worry me.
The location of the kitchens is completely irrelevant. The hygiene of their interiors is very relevant. Crap article to fill column inches.
Never heard of them. Doesn't matter where they work from as long as they obey the rules and are hygienic.
^ They are modular kitchen units not 'dark kitchens' and are specifically designed and made to comply with all the food hygiene regulations.
Exactly Eddie. Shockingly poor journalism.
Thanks for clarification. As Z-M says.
Does This Worry You?

Nah, why should it, it's London anyway.
Not read the article then tone.
but there are others in Leeds, Reading and Hove, tucked away in car parks or on industrial estates.

Nah, still not worried.

Nah, still not worried.
Yems cummin tooo a town near yooo intit.
It would be the bypassing planning etc that would concern me more.

Although they seem to be located away from residential sites they must be near some otherwise there wouldn't really have been complaints.

Having worked in kitchens and currently do it does sound rather normal kitcheny really. Although being small I imagine they have to be a bit tidier!!
