Order Of Responses.

As all posts are shown as latest first, wouldn't it make sense to do the same with responses? I would guess this has probably been asked before.

Yes it has been asked before - maybe copy this to Ed's Blog, she's more likely to pick it up there.

For me I wouldn't like it, but that's not what you're asking I know.

I disagree, Sam. One of the things that annoys me about Twitter, e.g., is that you start at the top and go backwards amongst the communications, so you're getting the chat in reverse.

Here, you can go straight to the final page to get the latest posts.

Answers often form a conversation as they build up, to show the latest first would make a mockery of that.

Well, as Clover and Baldric have said - it's a natural progression in conversational threads.

If someone posts 5 crossword clues and the first answer gives one solution - I still need to scroll down to see if the others have also been answered.

Either way you have to go somewhere.
