It is apparently being discussed whether to move Trump's state visit to picturesque Birmingham. That should put him off ever returning, anyway.

April 1st comes early this year :-) So one idea for improving security is a 'mass rally' to accommodate the legions of Trump fans in Sparkbrook and Solihull : oh well, next best thing to staging the Olympics I guess.

I'd guess that Fox News might well be DT's preferred source of news. In which case he'll know that Birmingham is a no-go zone for all non-Muslims, won't he?

Good point Chris. I'll let someone else make reference to The Black Country.
That should go down well for international relations.
he'll probably think he's going to Alabama

No doubt he'll squeeze 18 at the Belfry. He might even play golf too!
The Great Thinker may have been influenced by a film narrated by another tonsorially interesting American. I was convinced by the sincerity of the commentary. :)

Birmingham? That'll learn him!
Don't tell TonyAV!
What better venue is there to accommodate his ramblings but the Bull Ring Centre...
Birmingham doing London's dirty work .
Apparently the Principality Stafium is another possibility because some spotted that Cardiff also ticks the 'voted Brexit' and 'has a large stadium' boxes. I mean, honestly.
I wonder if the mention of Lindsey German, the CPGB ( neither did I), and as assortment of Egyptian and Venezuelan malcontents planning to 'stand up to Trump' is a none too subtle attempt by the DT to nonetheless stereotype the opposition. Our neighbours voted Brexit for example but they'd be joining the protests.
Buenchico
have you've been too Birmingham in the last 10 years ?
or are you judging it on its past reputation before billions were spent on the centre, have a day out there and get back to me .or are you a country "boy "at heart?
sorry buenchico that was for GenuineclAss

Good for him. How does that relate to my comment?
Only if HRH is there, as he wants to meet with her.
