Gott Im Himmel ven vill zee peoples underztant!! Come on Gromit, pure and simple by the rules of the referendum and the way it was staged BREXIT won the vote, neither you Mikey or any of our other resident lefty europhiles can question that yet the same drum is forever sounding. This woman has the money and now the notoriety to challenge this where ever she feels...

//The move, should it happen, may prove to be an issue for Prime Minister Theresa May as the Conservatives do not have a majority in the Lords.//

That's easily sorted.
I suspect this woman is an attention seeker looking for more publicity.
I think that in days gone bye this woman would have gone to to Tower, is it too late now ?
You keep using this term 'Majorit'y and 'will of the people'.

42% of the electorate is not the majority.

In reality, the vote was close. Unlike a General Election where a voter can change their mind and elected someone else in 5 years, our Brexit will be final and irreversible. So people who think it will do the country harm, are fighting it at every level.
Gromit, please do stop banging the same drum.Boring
^^^^

But true
Who cares how close it was - the 'out' vote won !
The truth often is boring.

Calling someone treasonous for using their democratic right and the rule of law, is boring it my book.

If you do not like other peoples' opinions, you are reading the wrong website.
Gromit. More votes were cast for Brexit so that is a MAJORITY.
I don't dislike any opinions as long as they are not thrust down my throat at any opportunity.
TT....this has been explained to you so many times, but still you don't understand !

The pending appeal in the Supreme Court will almost certainly rebound on Mrs May. Parliament will decide, not a lone PM.....that is what the law has said.

52% v 48% Gromit, simples. Mikey, I don't care about all this delaying h0rse ***, this treacherous woman is trying to subvert the democratic will of the majority. We voted to leave the EU last June, anything else is just delaying tactics by the SGB. Parliament should have a say, yada yada, cobras the people elect parliament the government has been given it's instructions. No amount delaying tactics by these popinjays should be allowed to thwart the will of the voters. Must we keep winning what is already won?
The words 'Will no-one rid me of this turbulent .....' must be teetering on many lips, including mine, by the way.
46,000,000 polled
17,000,000 voted out

Clearly not a majority. (That would take 23,000,000 +1).

a William De Tracy type character would indeed by useful jourdain.
46m is the size of the electorate, not how many voted.

...and every election in history gromit, stop it with this balderdash, those who don't vote have never counted, numerically or otherwise. On your silliness Saint Tony got only about 30% of the vote for a landslide in 1997 but of course we all know that's not how it works so stop it with this c0bbl3rs.
Gromit, and everybody else. It doesn't matter what the majority was, the Ref. was held and we should all accept the result, as I have.

But the Gina Miller Court case is not about the Ref. itself, but whether Parliament should trigger our withdrawal from the EU, or should Mrs May.

The Court has already decided, unanimously, that it should be Parliament, and I can't see the current appeal saying anything different.
TTT......its obvious that you still don't understand how Parliament works !
Tora,

Different topic, but FPTP electoral system is absolutely undemocratic and I do not support it. 4,000,000 UKIP voters torally ignored.
