I think "mental health issues" has become a catch-all explanation for these events. There may be other explanations that we are not told of, because of political correctness. Mental illness has always existed in our society, but the frequency of these events is relatively new. So there must be some other explanation.
A link to this has been posted on your last similar thread.

Where in the srticle you link to does it say 'mentally ill'?
....and being of Turkish-origin does not necessarily denote 'muslim'....
I agree how many more threads are there going to be about the same thing, spouting the same stuff time after time!!
Sad fact is if it didn't keep happening....
I don't mind the threads and of course the regularity is shocking, but it is grating when the title says one thing and the link doesn't refer to it.

Of course Webbo may know more about the history to this one and hasn't posted it.
Mental illness is probably the reason for all of these attacks; however, it doesn't mean that it is the motive.

and jackthehat \\....and being of Turkish-origin does not necessarily denote 'muslim'....//

who mentioned Muslim.

and it seems these kind of incidents are more frequent since the mass migration from Africa and the Middle east.

Dave.
Makes me wonder where they are getting the machetes from. It is not the sort of item that you can pick up at your local supermarket.

It is usually 'bad' people and not 'mad' people who do such things. The internet makes it seem worse as we are bombarded with the news of incidents from all over the world 24/7.

I just wish that there was a solution to all the hate - from both sides.
Thank you for explaining, a guesswork title is your choice of course.
I was pointing it out to those who may follow....
Isis are mentally ill.

I is a tool that is very useful for hacking one's way through the 'jungle', so perhaps they are being shipped in from Calais.
Wolfie....you can buy a machete at any Ironmongers, B+Q, Garden Centre, etc, and I expect its the same in Belgium.

So you think it should just be ignored?

Why?

Ordinary people in Germany are very wary of the refugee/migrants who aimlessly roam the streets, these endless tales of machete and knife attacks will only aggravate the situation.

AOG and Mikey - Do you think that the camp at Calais is the main source of Machetes in Western Europe.

The kukri that I have is blunt but I did think that it was illegal to buy such weapons. Perth is not known for its Jungles
