He'll cope.
Water off a duck's back
He shouldn't be coping, he should be doing a decent I actually felt embarrassed for him. ,
hes not embarrased so why should you be on his behalf ?..
Yes baz and why just embarrassed? Why cant we have a full on offended and upset on his behalf?
What makes folk think he isn't doing a decent job ? Not that he's had time to prove it one way or the other yet. If the American press, and I assume it was just one ***, is just interested in trouble stirring for their own country and ours then that says more about them than our Foreign Secretary.
Was it the 'jack' or the 'ass' that was starred out ?
Typical left wing slant from a left wing rag.

Boris has broad shoulders, pretty sure he has had worse.
'Left wing rag'?

I'll have you know it was a very popular newspaper. ;)
Yeah, doesn't even have a use as bog paper any more.
Hes an easy target but theyll get bored soon...
I noticed that Boris did not address the comments made to him by the American journo, accept to say that it would take him to long to deal with all the comments he had made in 30 years of journalism.

From memory, he was only asked about his comments about Kenyan qualities of Obama, and Hilary Clinton looks, so I fail to understand why he could not just have dealt with those two accusations.
And claim he was wrong ? No one would ever believe him again.
OG....A small apology might not have gone amiss !
They probably arent used to a journalist getting a real job.

I notice when people do that too.
Having just watched the vid I think it has to be said that he defended his wicket well.
I think an apology would be a mistake. He's made his position clear, he doesn't need to have his strings pulled by the press. Do that and where would it end ? He needs to move it on so he is seen as a serious statesman, not someone who can be poked for fun at every opportunity.
"He needs to move it on so he is seen as a serious statesman"

OG....do you really think that is possible ?

He has played the fool for so long, that he is in danger of being like the boy who cried wolf....perhaps no one will believe him when he does try to be serious.
