It seems that criminals are giving longer sentences for stealing things than for attacking, hurting, terrifying or killing humans and animals.

These guys are getting banged up for a short while ~ but I do wonder what they thought they were going to do with their ill-gotten gains.

It's like an April Fool's joke! Two vile yobs who tortured their female bulldog and paralysed her, ending in her death, only got a suspended sentence. Obviously stealing bloody biscuits are more important in our stupid laws !!

I don't think that this is new at all.
Sentences for stealing money or property have always seemed more severe than those for injuring people or animals.
They must be crackers.
