I put this post in the wrong place - but for anyone who is interested in the EU debate, 20 minutes well spent here.

Very good!! though of course nothing new in stating the obvious arguments. When I read some comments from the ostriches above who condemn it but won't even listen and are unable to give a rational reason why the UK should remain in this failed enterprise, I feel comforted that the out vote will indeed succeed this summer.

What section, as a matter of interest, were you planning to put in in? Jokes??

Galloway is anti EU of course. He wouldn't get his own show on RT '*** shovelling is our business' otherwise :-)
Thanks for posting Alex99.
I look forward to viewing the "many people from different sides of the argument".
It is more relevant than some of the trivia posted in this 'News' section.

The problem is...Farage shouldn't have gotten involved with this. I've honestly tried to watch the clip, and unfortunately I cannot get the images of George Galloway, dressed in a pink leotard, or pretending to be a cat and licking Rula Lens's hand in Big Brother out of my head.

For those who didn't see the horror...

As far as I'm concerned Alex you might as well post it in news why not? But there was no showdown between viewpoints going on.
The arguments for and against the EU aren't really the issue. It's just instructive to see propaganda tv in progress. I don't really blame George or Nigel. They think what they think - they are just being used and are happy to be
Alex99

But seriously - surely a better proposition would be a clip where Farage is challenged on his position?

Has he ever gone up against Jeremy Paxman?

Now if he could put his views across to someone like Paxo, and 'win', that would make for interesting viewing.
Sp14,
Since when did ANY politician beat Paxo? You're asking Farage for the Holy Grail that none have achieved thus far.

This thread is posted in the wrong section of AB, so we can do with it as we wish.
It's not news.

Some of you are not as smart as you would like to believe!

As an anti EU Tory Voter I'm not going to waste the best part of ½ hour of my life on these two.
Well it is news surely?? Given many posts in this section are not really news but a rant with a topical link attaxhed, not sure Alex needs to apologise

Chilldoubt

Farage could be the first!

Imagine that!

(Wish my spellchecker would quit trying to change Farage into garage).

It's doing better here.
Whooooooooooooooosh!

Have any of you Farage supporters ever considered this...that those of us who disagree with him (and you) know all the facts and have drawn different conclusions?

Don't you think it's possible for there to be two sides of an argument, and that one side with reject the argument of the other, and vice versa?

You may use the word ostrich in your criticism of the other side.

Some might answer that by calling you 'bins', in that you will swallow any old rubbish that's fed to you without question.

But then, it just becomes a slanging match.

(Oh, and I have spelled out the reasons why I think we should stay earlier in the thread - but I think that the 'out' vote will win comfortably come this summer.

What are you implying?
If I was going to criticize something and/or claim I knew everything about a subject, I'd, at least, have the good grace to view it first.
