Hi there I have had another really day of what ifs but I am changing my focus from negative to positive I've written down all the things I am looking forward to about my trip and focusing on them instead of thinking what if this happens say well what if I go and see all the things I really want to see how I will feel. The forth road bridge is closed and we are going to stay the night in Edinburgh before to avoid the rush hour on the other routes dad has paid £80 for a night in a hotel for mum and me which is amazing and all the train times and tickets to the tour have worked out very few tickets left. So I am really looking forward to it but these racing thoughts have left me exhausted mentally and physically and the crazy thing is I will probably have a great journey and it will all have been such a waste of time I took a diazepam 5mg with no effect.

Well done, preparation is really helpful and practise the things that are difficult little and often if you can.... You were prescribed antidepressants some time ago? Are you still not taking them?
Good for you, gordie. Try not to think of the whole thing at once, prepare bits of it at a time and don't let your mind race. Hope it goes well. :)
Trip was cancelled Jourdain eventually.
Ta, mamya -oops - I must learn to read the dates better. :)
