No, there IS massive opposition. There may be a marginal majority but thousands are against it.
So if it were up to you, where exactly would *you* aim these strikes?
Your link wasn't there when I posted. Nevertheless 'division' doesn't equate to 'massive opposition'.
JD "selected targets" yeah right. Are you convinced that they know exactly where these targets are?
And thousands are for it. To answer your question, it's not up to me and I don't have the information necessary to make that decision.
Oh look ...there's one! ("knuckle dragging..." etc)
"Play fair now"

Is that addressed to the arms manufacturers?

H. Benn stated "when the war is over" we will 'fix' Syria up and a 'transitional government' BEFORE elections; clearly Assad must go before any 'fixing' may occur : the 'fictional boundaries' Benn referred to must surely include the ones the fighters, arms and financial support for ISIS permeated?
"it's not up to me and I don't have the information necessary to make that decision"
"...but they probably know what they're doing"
(That kind of thing?)
..presuming you're FOR it?
(Big apologies if you're not)
sevenOP, // Is that addressed to the arms manufacturers? //

No. Read it again.

Answerprancer, that's a first! Me a 'knuckledragger'? Sorry, got to laugh.
How do we know who to bomb? So called 'ISIS' live within and amongst the civilian populations
No Naomi, that was actually aimed at Baz ...but if the cap fits.
Thankyou Bob ...my thoughts exactly.
Answerprancer, // No Naomi, that was actually aimed at Baz ...but if the cap fits. //

Ah, right. Confusing when you don't address a post to the person it's intended for,
Not confusing if you work out the context.
It is good that the government has voted to do the honourable thing.
Now we see how it all unfolds.
bobthebandit, //How do we know who to bomb? So called 'ISIS' live within and amongst the civilian populations //

I don't claim to be an expert on weapons, but as I understand it targets can be pretty accurately assessed these days. The alternative is the spread of ISIS. Is that a better idea?
Answerprancer, // Not confusing if you work out the context. //

I did work out the context. You were arguing with me.
So, Naomi are you for or against this?
Oh God the 'knuckle draggers' comments are back - what EXACTLY is a knuckle dragger ??! Don't innocents always perish in war, and what are we supposed to do, let these monsters carry on killing our innocents whenever they fancy and torturing their own ??
I'm for it - but I'm not for boots on the ground.
